NurdPC Ltd Returns & Refunds Policy
Welcome to the Returns & Refunds Policy of NurdPC Ltd, designed to ensure customer satisfaction with every custom gaming PC purchase. To understand our policies regarding returns, refunds, and warranty coverage, please carefully review the following terms and conditions.
Warranty Coverage for Desktop PCs:
NurdPC Ltd provides a 2-year warranty for desktop PCs starting from the date of delivery. This includes 1 year of parts coverage and 2 years of labor coverage.
Parts Warranty:
All hardware components integrated into NurdPC Ltd desktop systems are covered for 1 year from the date of receipt. Tampering with or removing any warranty labels will void claims for that specific product. Tampering with or removing any components without prior authorisation & without the presence of a NurdPC Ltd staff member (in person or video call) will void any and all warranties in its entirety.
Repair Labor Costs:
NurdPC Ltd covers repair labor costs for 2 years. However, expenses for replacement parts beyond the first year are not covered.
Ownership of Faulty Parts:
Parts identified as faulty and removed during repairs remain the property of NurdPC Ltd.
Use of Components During Warranty Repairs:
NurdPC Ltd reserves the right to use new, reconditioned, or equivalent components for warranty repairs.
Return of Products:
Buyers are responsible for securely packaging returned items. Inadequate packaging resulting in damage during return shipping requires the buyer to cover repair or replacement costs. NurdPC Ltd will not be held liable for any damage caused to a any items being posted to us, the sender of the package is responsible in full for any and all damages.
Software Support:
NurdPC Ltd does not provide software support of any kind. A £45 fee will be charged to restore the system to factory settings if returned with a software fault.
Data Backup Responsibility:
Buyers are responsible for data backup, and NurdPC Ltd is not liable for data loss.
Third-Party Repairs:
Repairs by third parties will void the warranty at NurdPC Ltd's discretion unless previously approved in writing from NurdPC LTd, with no coverage for associated costs.
Setting Up and Troubleshooting Time:
NurdPC Ltd is not responsible for the buyer's time spent setting up goods or troubleshooting problems.
Returns with Valid RMA within 14 days:
Returned products must have a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Packages without it will be rejected.
Third-Party Parts and Overclocking:
Installation of third-party parts or overclocking voids the warranty in it's entirety
Collection and Shipping Costs:
Any return shipping costs will be at the buyers expense after 14 days of receipt. Any damage during transit is the buyers responsibility.
Replacement Parts Turnaround:
Efforts are made to complete repairs promptly. In some cases, parts may need to be sent to the original manufacturer causing delays.
Wear and Tear:
Claims related to "wear and tear" are not valid under this warranty.
Reporting Damage:
Report any damage within 48 hours of receiving goods. Failure to do so may result in responsibility for replacement parts. After 48 hours of receipt, the items sold are deemed to be in full working order unless otherwise stated in writing withing 48 hours of receipt.
Damaged Packages:
In cases of damaged packages returned under warranty, the buyer will be informed of the reasons behind the damage. All claims for damaged items are the responsibility of the buyer, between the buyer and the courier company they have used.
Warranty Extension:
Replacement under warranty does not extend the warranty term.
Exclusions from Warranty:
Accidental damage, removing, repairing, replacing of additional components will void warranty. Misuse, electrical power issues, third-party servicing, acts of nature, and non-compliance with product specifications are not covered
Warranty of any kind is non transferable.
No Fault Fee:
A £25 fee is required if no issue is found within 5 working days of stress testing during warranty repair.
Cancellation Policy:
Buyers can cancel within 24 hours, with a £45 ex VAT cancellation fee per custom system.
Unwanted Items:
Returns for unwanted items are not accepted due to the custom nature of the products.
